Prospect Park Brooklyn Wedding | Jason & Michelle

Jason and Michelle, longtime loves, were married this past June in the heart of Brooklyn at the hidden gem of Prospect Park's Boathouse. The historic venue, with its elegant architecture and serene views, provided the perfect backdrop for their elevated celebration. My favorite part, besides the single long table adorned with custom romantic florals, was witnessing how deeply in love this couple is. The entire event radiated happiness, connection, and joy, with no detail overlooked. Congratulations, you two!

Vashon Island Backyard Nuptials | Karisa + Ryan | Seattle Area Wedding Photographer

If I had to have a favorite kind of wedding, it would be a backyard one. Karisa & Ryan’s special day was no exception. Set on the gorgeous Vashon Island, at Ryan’s mother’s home, it was full of special details that made it a really amazing evening in the sound. This property holds a ton of importance to the happy couple, who grew up as islanders and live nearby now. There’s something so special and interesting about having to take a ferry home every day, it really makes home a retreat, and that’s exactly what their wedding felt like.
