Snowy Maternity Shoot | Jake + Jessica | Seattle Maternity Photography

You've seen Jake and Jess here before on my blog, a few times.  Besides being dear friends, they're the easiest people to photograph, ever. So in love, quick to laugh and gorgeous together, to boot. They're expecting their first baby this spring, and it was such a joy to get together on the first morning of 2017 to grab some photos in the snow. Discovery Park is such an incredible backdrop and I loved seeing it in a new light with a quiet dusting of New Years snow. Congrats, you two. I can't wait to watch you become parents and experience the joys of that new baby.

Jules In The Flowers | Seattle Lifestyle Family Photography

Kendall is a dear friend to me. She's my second-photographer of choice when I'm shooting weddings, and she's on of my favorite people to talk shop with. She's photographed me with my late mother, some very special days for my family, headshots, nursing shots, family shots, you name it. I was so happy to return the favor with her little guy, Jules (who, by the way, is precisely one year older than my baby, Eames, to the day!) and husband too.
