Lucas and Ornella originally contacted me for a maternity shoot and knew exactly what they wanted for a setting. Recently engaged and expecting a baby boy in June, they wanted to saunter around their stomping grounds of Ballard, a fantastic neighborhood in Seattle, WA and do their engagement and maternity pictures in the place they love! We went everywhere, Ballard Avenue, Paseo, and Shilshole for a ton of variety and bright, beautiful colors. These two are so sweet together, it's clear they absolutely adore one another. Bridgette and Matt were engaged during our Seattle photo shoot last year. Their big day is almost here, and I'm counting down the days until their California wedding in May. We decided to start the shoot off with coffee at Vivache in South Lake Union, Seattle to chat about the details coming up and final arrangements, and moved onto our shoot from there. South Lake Union is probably my favorite urban place to shoot - tons of variety and secret hiding spots to sneak into and grab the best light.
